For suppliers

Last updated 30 July 2026.

If you have found your business on Whoopla and did not put it here, this page explains why, and gives you a way to change it or have it taken down.

Why you are listed

We built Whoopla so parents can find suppliers who actually cover their town, rather than scrolling a national site full of firms who do not. To start it, we gathered listings from public sources: Google Maps, and your own website. We did not buy a list and nobody passed your details to us.

It is free. There is no fee, no commission, and no charge for enquiries. We are not going to send you an invoice.

What you can ask for

Correct something

Wrong phone number, wrong area, wrong categories, out of date prices, or a detail we read from your site that is no longer right. Email us and we will fix it.

Claim your listing

Claiming confirms you are the business, so your listing says Claimed by owner instead of Unclaimed. It is free, there is no commission, and there is nothing to subscribe to.

Claim your listing

We send a confirmation link to the contact address already on your listing, which is the one published on your own website. Click it and you are done. If we do not hold an address for you, the same form reaches us and we check by hand, usually by ringing the number on your listing.

Claiming is also how you get the things parents ask about most onto your listing: age ranges, DBS, SEND and allergy awareness, insurance. Tell us in the form, or reply to the confirmation email, and we add them. We do not let anyone tick those boxes themselves, because on a children's site an unchecked safety claim is worse than no claim at all.

Verified by Whoopla is a separate badge and a higher bar. We only add it after speaking to you. Claiming does not move you up the listings.

Be removed

Say the word and we will take the listing down. We do not ask why and we do not try to talk you out of it. When we remove a listing we also record the minimum needed so that a later automated update does not quietly add you back, and that record holds no phone number, no email address and no postal address.

How to ask

Email hello@whoopla.co.uk with your business name and what you would like. A link to your listing helps but is not required.

We aim to reply within a few days, and to act within one month at the outside, which is the limit the law gives us.

What "Unclaimed" means

It means we built the listing from public information and you have not confirmed it yet. It is not a mark against your business, and it is not a nudge to pay for anything.

The legal bit

We hold your listing on the basis of legitimate interests, and you have the right to object to that. If you object, we act on it. The full detail of what we hold, where it came from and what your rights are is in our privacy notice.
